Another bonus is that mint grows wild in Colorado and is very hearty once the plant is established. This mint came from my backyard and I love having it growing fresh out my back door.
Fresh Mint Salt Scrub |
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of salt
1/4 cup of coconut oil
1/4 cup of fresh mint - about 1 tbsp when chopped
Directions:
Mix the salt and room temperature coconut oil together in a bowl. It should make a paste that is somewhat thick, but still very pliable. Next, wash and dry the fresh mint and then mince it into fine pieces. Add the mint to the coconut oil and salt paste and stir to combine well. Place the scrub in an airtight jar to store.
To use place a small amount of scrub on your hands or feet and massage it in. Then wash and dry as usual. You hands should be exceptionally soft :)
